More of Life Aboard

David has been more-or-less glued to the computer for the past couple weeks as he’s been writing code and learning something new. He emerges from his task every evening to play his clarinet for a bit. That I enjoy very much. Last evening I took a pic of David in his “usual” place in the boat.

2 Thoughts.

  1. Hi Andy. Yup–definitely in the groove as they say.

What language–ah. If doing something practical it would be a Python or Bash scripting going on. With David, the “norm” would be that he’s doing scientific programming in C or modeling something in Mathematica/Octave. Any of these could take him into the zone for days or weeks. LOL. However, the learning something new he was doing there was with Ruby on Rails.

    Happy Holidays.
