David spent the better part of a day threading more bronze rods. These were to run through blocking and mast partners between the new deck beams. Below, you can see David using the die on bronze rod on the vise, there are several he’s already threaded on the table in front of him. The other pic is of the blocking between the deck beams in the bow of the boat.

Mahdee seems to have a voracious appetite for two things: bronze and wood. We always seem to be struggling to get enough of one or the other. After that threading, we were out of bronze rod again, so it was back to wood working. We just got some more bronze rod in, so it will be back to threading again in the next day or two.
