Today, David and John removed the bronze gudgeon as we expected it to be pink (yes, it was) and need to be replaced. Here, they’re under the boat, trying to get it loose from the keel. Of course, I’d just sprayed down the ground under the boat with water so they’re laying in mud (sorry, guys!).


So, the final plank (the Whiskey plank) was in the middle of the transom. John put it in on Tuesday, we had a little party on Wednesday. Life is good…
No shipwright to hand over a progress payment and a bottle of whiskey, but we still had a great time.
