Right in the middle of the dirtiest part of the demo of the boat’s interior, good friend, Don, shows up. He stopped in at the end of August while on a vacation motorcycle road trip down the California coast. He took off the that nice leather jacket that matches the Ducati bike and ended up covered in bildge grime. Since David was (literally) living out of a suitcase himself on a Rawson 30 sailboat at a nearby marina, they made a trip to the Walmart for clean clothes for Donto wear afterwards–oh, yea, and a sleeping bag for Don to use in the pilot berth of the Rawson.
Don says he’ll be back for a couple weeks (or more) after his Navy retirement in early 2007–yes, yes, yes–some friends are truly awesome.
